The capital of Nepal. It is in a beautiful green valley

Pokhara a magnificent
valley of lakes and mountains is the second largest tourist
destination in Nepal. The valley is - among other things

Nepal's biggest industrial state and second largest commercial
state after Kathmandu, Biratnagar lies in south Eastern
region of Nepal. A medium sized town, is a mosaic of different
cultures is a home for almost all ethnic groups of Nepal
such as
Brahmins, chettries, Kirats, Tharus and others. Being
the center for trade, commerce and industry, this vibrant
city to some extent fulfills the ever-growing economic
demands of the country. This city in the Terai is also
a gateway to the great eastern Himalayan region of Nepal.
The city is also the nearest connecting point to the Indian
metropolis of Calcutta, Baranasi and Patna. The major
tourist attraction of Bird watching at the Koshi Tapu
and a 12 days trek to the base camp of Kunchenjungha begins
from here.

A major trekking destination, Jomsom lies on the famous
Annapurna Circuit Trek. It is also the gateway to the
Upper Mustang 'Kingdom', and the Muktinath Temple (one
of the holiest mountain pilgrimage spots). Jomsom lies
in the upper areas of the Kali Gandaki valley, which provides
one of the few clear passages through the virtually wall
of the Himalayas. The three mile deep Kali Gandaki Gorge
(the deepest in the world) is flanked by Dhaulagiri and
Annapurna Range. Jomsom is also famous for its very tasty
apples.

This is a beautiful city located on the banks of the Narayani
River. It connects visitors to one of the more adventurous
places in Nepal, the Sauraha Wildlife Park. The city lies
180 km. south-west of Kathmandu and can easily be reached
in 20 minutes by air. The park is home to the famous Royal
Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhinoceros as well as leopards,
sloth bear, wild boar, deer, wild dog, Gangetic dolphin,
march mugger crocodile, and more than 400 species of birds.
