"The History of Glacier Hotel"
Built in 1990, the hotel was renovated in 2006 and remodeled in the neo-classic Rana Palace style. The hotel is managed by a young local entrepreneur and employs a staff of 30. Glacier is a small hotel and offers travelers good value, friendly service, and a most memorable stay.

We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and prompt, courteous and discrete service. We are a family-run concern and are here to ensure your stay goes smoothly and comfortably. We are in a prime location, just 20m from Lake Fewa and 100m from the Royal Palace.

We're also close to the bank, immigration and there is a good choice of restaurants and shops within easy reach. Even though we are in the popular part of town, we occupy a quiet and tranquil spot. We've an excellent choice of cuisine (including Italian, Mexican, Continental, Indian and of course Nepali). We also have our own power generator, solar power and water treatment - and fire fighters, just in case.
