Air Nepal International (ANI) is set to launch international flights form 24 July with a Boeing 767.
ANI will operate in three sectors in the initial phase: Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu-Doha-Dubai and Kathmandu-Bangkok, ANI officials said at a press conference on Sunday. Three flights will be conducted a week in Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu-Bangkok sectors each and two flights a week in Kathmandu-Doha-Dubai sector.
The airlines has signed an agreement with Thai PB Company of Thailand on dry lease’ basis for a 245-seater Boeing 767-300 ER. “The flight service will also help boost tourism in Nepal,” said Pradeep Raj Pandey, CEO, ANI.
