Growth and Number of Fleets
During the time of commencement of the company Shangri-La Air started its operations with one Twin Otter aircraft DHC 6-300. In course of time the organization was capable to increase the fleets having two American built Beech craft 1900C and three Twin Otter DHC 6 300 made in Canada. While considering the number of the fleets Shangri-La Air has generated its image to stand as one of the second largest domestic airliner in the country. The service provided by Shangri-La Air is highly admired in the travel trade industry of this region.

DHC6-300 TWIN OTTER/ capacity- 19 seats
It is good for the operations of STOL field (Short Take Off and Landing) as it can operate in grassy and unpaved short runways for the transportation of passengers and essential commodities to remote areas. It is a proven aircraft in the flight of mountainous region like Nepal since many years at the past.
BEECHCRAFTS 1900C/ Capacity- 18 seats
It is pressurized aircraft and can fly up to an altitude of 25000 feet. By virtue of being the technically capable in gaining high speed it can reach tourist destination in very short time. The another privilege of this aircraft is the operations of sightseeing flight of the mountain including the highest peak of the World "The Mount Everest". The provision of one window seat to each passenger is the plus point to add unforgettable event in the sky.
